For schools
In the Netherlands, a physical handicap may not hinder participation in social life in a fully-fledged way. Laws have even been written about this and thereby our country is at the forefront internationally speaking. The project Weer Samen Naar School (Back to School Together) is an example of a project that was started in the framework of this legislation. Thanks to this project, children with a physical handicap can still follow regular education. The Mytyl schools these children used to attend are now becoming places for (more) serious cases. In both situations, the requirements that school managements have for the interior and the furniture have changed.
Maatwerk is there for every school or institution who have one or more handicapped children attending at the same time. Every year, Maatwerk supplies the furnishings for several large projects. For Maatwerk this does not stop at the supply of all those chairs and tables. We like to think along with the customer, both before and after procurement. What, for example, is the best way to apply for subsidies? And how do you prevent that next year you have to put some of the children in new chairs because they have grown? Or grown crooked? Maatwerk just makes sure that the same chairs will again fit next year and happily comes back to adjust them. Material conservation. Cost savings and so on.
